HERE IS SINITTA'S BIOGRAPHY:
Sinitta Renet Malone was born on the 19th of October, 1966 in Washington DC/USA. She is the daughter of singer Miquel Brown. Sinitta starred in the movie "Shock Treatment" in 1981, and sung in the musical "Cats" in 1983. After Cats she starred in the musical Mutiny and recorded two songs with the band Hot Gossip which were Break me into little pieces and don't beat around the bush she then whent solo and released her first solo recording "Never too late" (1983), which was mixed by Jellybean (Madonna, E.G.Daily). Further singles like "So Macho" (1985), "Cruising" (1984) and "Feels like the first time" (1986) were major club hits, but not effective chart hits. Sinitta then starred in the 1986 movie "Foreign boy". When the UK producers Stock/Aitken/Waterman discovered her, Sinitta's career finally took off. The PWL house wanted to produce a "modern Shirley Temple", and saw Sinitta as the perfect singer for this concept. After she was in the press for her young lover, Sinitta hit the charts with the actual song "Toy boy" (1987) which reached number 4 in the UK charts. This also was one of the first hits for SAW, and was their start into their now legendary producer career. The following songs "Cross my broken heart" (1987), "G.T.O." (1987) and "I don't believe in miracles" (1988) were also major European top ten hits, before SAW decided that Sinitta wasn't fitting into their concept of singer anymore. Sinitta wanted to go on and develop herself, for she was an adult and not a teenager anymore. So a Shirley Temple image did not work out for her any longer. SAW described Sinitta once as the "sexiest voice we ever produced". Back then, Sinitta was also the only SAW artist who had an album out with SAW, which had many different producers on it. Usually, a SAW album only contained SAW written and produced tracks. Sinitta was still at the hightime of her fame, and finding new producers like Ralf Rene Maue© (London Boys) and Phil Harding (also PWL) was no problem. The No.1 hit "Right back where we started from" (1989) took her to the top. "Love on a mountain top" (1989), "Lay me down easy" (1989) and "Hitchin a ride" (1990) kept her there. When the 90s came, SAW's fame declined, and so did Sinitta's fame. People found it difficult to cope with the new grown up Sinitta, and associated her with SAW most often, which was not in style anymore. Sinitta went different ways, and recorded "Shame Shame Shame" (1992) the "Supremes EP" (1993) and the Japan only album "Naughty naughty" (1995), which also contains various Motown covers. "Love and affection" (1990) is a song by Joan Armatrading, while "Aquarius" (1993) came from the musical and movie "Hair", that Sinitta's mother was in (as Sheila). Sinitta decided to go back working in musicals. She sung with Sonia (also a former SAW artist) and Luke Goss (former Bros) in "What a feeling" (1997). She also went back into movies and played herself in "Heaven's a Drag/To Die For"(1994). She also appeared in the 2001 documentary "There's Only One Madonna". Sinitta is still performing concerts, also including her status as a gay icon. Her so far latest single is the self-produced "Use me up" (1999) on Chocolate Boy records. And her so far latest album is "The very best of Sinitta" Which includes the hits "Toy boy", "Cross my broken heart", "Shame Shame Shame" And "Cruisin". According to the People Magazine Sinitta is Currently married to businessman Andy Willner.
